Our Temporary Home ...
Our usual meeting space is being rehabbed due to mold. For that reason, we are meeting at the Summerloch Green Mango Club House twice a month. We are meeting in the card room for best lighting. We may be a bit cramped, depending on how many join in. But we will have fun, just the same, I am sure.
For Those New to Wood Whittling and Carving ....
We can provide some introductory lessons if you have never whittled or carved. There is a small fee for projects. If you are an experienced carver, perhaps you would enjoy teaching a newcomer!
Creating Your Own Wood Carvings
We may be able to help you out with some materials. Just ask. Otherwise, there are two fine nearby local stores - Woodcraft and Rockler. Each carries carvers' supplies and wood.
